Welcome to The GOAT HEAD, a new cul(t)inary sensation led by Sarah and Michael Boone-Witham, a dynamic duo with over 20 years of restaurant experience! We believe that food has the power to cultivate community and build connections.
Both of us grew up in low-income families, cutting our teeth in restaurants from a young age. We know firsthand what it means to sacrifice just to get by, and we believe there’s a better way to do business. Beyond our passion for food, we have a passion for people. A living wage, community equity, inclusion, and sustainability aren’t just talking points for us—they’re non-negotiable. We want to celebrate the diversity of our communities and actively support their growth.
Raised in the heart of Salt Lake City, Boone’s love for food was forged in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains, while Sarah’s Texas roots bring bold flavors and Southern influence to the table. Our menu reflects this balance—offering everything from Tex-Mex breakfast options to chicken & waffles and more traditional breakfast plates. The Goat Head is our way of bringing people together—whether it’s over a quick coffee, a leisurely brunch, or a much-needed hangover cure.
